The new season kicked off with only seven players in attendance. GTSA welcomed Craig Lynch who will play in the Glasgow league this season although still being registered with Hot Club. Last season’s runner-up, Tom Burns went to the top of the league with two victories, one an emphatic win against Baver Bari. In the other Burns had to come from behind against Dave Gladman to win 2-1. Gladman joined Burns on six points courtesy of wins over Martin Phee and an unlucky Craig Lynch. Colin Day is also on six points with no goals conceded after beating Lynch and Ronnie McKenzie. McKenzie had better luck in his second game with a narrow victory over Phee.

Martin and Colin, founder members in 1973 and they haven’t changed a bit!
Also present was Zoltan Hegedus. Zoltan won’t be competing in the league this season as he will be leaving Glasgow in a few weeks time. The Club wishes him well for the future!
