It’s a steep learning curve for new members Kenny Jones and John Halpin but it was interesting to see how they would fare when they faced each other tonight. It was honours even as they both got their first point on the table. Dave Butler got his league campaign underway and once again found it difficult against Baver Bari, winning by a single goal. In the absence of Colin Day, Tom Burns extended his lead at the top of the table. Barry Corr moved into third after two comfortable wins.
